NV, Nov 17, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Itronics Inc. (PINKSHEETS:
ITRO) (FRANKFURT: ITG) (BERLIN: ITG) wholly-owned subsidiary, Whitney
& Whitney, Inc., reported today that its claim staking contractor
has completed staking 90 mineral lode claims for Auric Gold &
Minerals, Inc. (Auric). The project now covers approximately 1,800
acres of land and the claim staking is continuing.
Whitney
& Whitney identified the polymetallic gold project, which is
located in Nevada, and agreed to assist Auric acquire the highly
prospective mineral property. The land acquisition is being accomplished
by staking lode mining claims on Federal lands managed by the U.S.
Bureau of Land Management.
Auric is a majority owned affiliate of Whitney
& Whitney, Inc. and was formed to acquire multi-mineral (polymetallic)
gold properties and to strategically invest in junior gold and minerals
companies that provide the opportunity to develop and commercialize
environmentally friendly polymetallic gold projects.
